Youth Programs International reinforces the global mission of Habitat for Humanity. It seeks to engage youth around in the world in ways that will bring new energy and leadership to the organization
Youth Programs International works wherever Habitat is present around the world! Youth Programs coordinators work in Habitat for Humanity International offices in Africa and the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Find the contact information for the coordinator in your region.
There are many ways in which youth can get involved with Habitat for Humanity around the world:
Community youth groups are youth-led and youth-run organizations made up of representative youth leadership from local schools, churches, businesses, homeowner youth and other youth service organizations. They work in partnership with local affiliates in construction, education and fund raising. Contact your area coordinator to learn more about community youth groups. Campus chapters, often called student groups or clubs, are student-run organizations on a university or high school campus. Campus chapters perform four main functions: building, fund raising, advocating and educating. Visit the Campus Chapters page for more information on the Campus Chapters program. Contact your area coordinator for more information on how to start a campus chapter at your school. Explore this Web site for more ideas on how you can get involved with Habitat, or contact your Youth Programs area coordinator for more information on Habitat in your part of the world.
